THE IMPACT OF TRANSLATION IN READERS AND WRITERS

Translation is an art since we believe is more than just being objective and literal. For the translator it is an arduous job which requires having several abilities such as reading, writing, paraphrasing and so on, in order to do it in a functional way. Furthermore, we as translators need to be aware and cautious about the method, strategy and technique in which we take on the task of translating. Also, it is a matter of choosing the appropiate expressions and terms in order to maintain the meaning of the original text. Likewise, in the form we think it is of extreme importance to be careful at the moment of translating in specific or exact sciences because of their terminology , although literal translation would work just fine. In contrast, we agree with the fact poems and novels related to art do not need the involvement of the translator's feelings. In conclusion, when we say the translation has an impact in readers and writers is because the translator is not literal , and he is capable of expressing the same sense as the original text.
