A BRIEF
TRANSLATION HISTORY

Translation was born when Sumerians and Akkadians  started to trade their products in the Region of Mesopotamia. Cicero and Horace, representatives of Free Translation gave a different turn using sense for sense instead of   Literal Translation whose approach was word-for-word.

On the other hand, Traductology onsets emerged from the constant reflection upon how  translation was made with Steiner. Translation studies from him to the most known authors that make translation be
more accurate than ever.
